How to deal with a change?

People are afraid of a great many things; death, public speaking, etc. but the fear of change and the unknown ranks high on any list of things that provoke anxiety. The prospect of making changes in one’s life can be so intimidating that some people will forego making them even when to do so would be beneficial.
change means moving into unfamiliar territory. Faced with the prospect of change, people worry about making a mistake, being put into a worse situation, or failing to succeed. Their imaginations conjure up all manner of dire possibilities, a wide range of rationalizations.

Now we gotta try to:
Learn to manage change. Instead of fearing change, develop strategies for change management. Thinking about ways things might turn out.

Check expectations against reality. This leads to more realistic expectations and less of the depression and demoralization that often accompanies not achieving ‘what we thought we would achieve.’

Don’t be defined by externals. Too often, we allow the value we place on ourselves to be determined by what others think. More focus on the value what this change wud bring :D
