5D4N Sailing Trip: NTB - NTT (part 4)

26 April 2014.

Semalam, kapal kita merapat di kawasan Kalong Island. I heard rumors about glow in the dark plankton or also known as "bioluminescence plankton". Awalnya emang ga ada apa-apa, jadi gue kira glow in the dark plankton was just a myth. Tapi begitu lampu kapal ga sengaja mati, Oh-My-Lord.. You would not believe your eyes i swear.

Too bad, ga tau kenapa plankton-plankton itu ga keliatan di foto, maybe because it was waay too dark. Oh, and you have to see the night sky of Flores, full of stars, so pretty i wanna cry.

Paginya, kapal udah mendarat di dermaga Pulau Rinca / Rinca Island. Pulau tempat habitat +/- 2.700 komodo. Komodo disini ga sebesar di Pulau Komodo, tapi meskipun lebih kecil, mereka jauh lebih agresif. I was so tired, so i didnt join the group to do treking, i stayed at the cafetaria eating popmie noodles. But, i saw group of Komodos eating a dead lamb near the cafetaria. And yes, they might be smaller in size, but they are jauh lebih menyeramkan than those yang ada di Pulau Komodo. I saw one of them climbing a tree so fast, way faster than me i guess. Hiii..

Ini dia, dermaga Loh Buaya, Rinca Island. Ada tulisan di plang kecil that says, "Be Carefull! Crocodile Area!". Gila ya, kurang serem apa di daratan ada komodo, di airnya ada buaya. Oh iya, disini banyak banget monyet nakal, so take care of your belongings.

Next, move to Kelor Island. It's clean, clear and pretty. I saw a Sting Ray and lots of Nemo fishes. But the corals arent that beautiful as the one on Moyo or Pink Beach.

    

After that, finally we hoped to THE LAND! Yeah finally after 4 days sailing on the ocean! So we arrived at Labuan Bajo. Sebenernya kita masih boleh buat numpang tidur di kapal for free, but but but, me and my girls just booked a Bungalows in Gardena Bungalows, so we could just sleep peacefully with the Air Conditioner on! Yiaaay!

We took a bath (finally), and put some make up on (finally, too.), and walked around and found a great and hip bar in Labuan Bajo named Paradise. We waited for the sunset in there.

Getting bored in Paradise Bar, we moved to a cutie little place named The Lounge. It's like a sky bar. And late night we hopped back to Paradise Bar. So after the 4 days of Island Hopping, we finally could do a little Cafe Hopping now. :p
